My Manga Story
I said I was working on my own manga story so allow me to share a little of it with you. I haven't come up with a title for it yet because I'm still waiting for that perfect title to show itself.
The story takes place in the far future of Japan. Demons have taken over Japan and have killed every human except for one. They kept this one human alive for research purposes. This human is a boy named Aiyo. He is not aware that he is the only human. He believes that everyone else around him is human. Then we have Shiyori who becomes with Aiyo. She see's the difference between demons and humans. Demons cannot show emotion, so his emotion intrigues her. Demons kill one another without caring, but Shiyori knows that they SHOULD care. Demons have no close relations with one another, they live empty lives. Shiyori knows within her heart that this way of living is wrong. She doesn't understand why she feels this way, when no one else does.
Shiyori decides that the only way to fix things, is to restore the human race to Japan again. She teams up with Aiyo but, convincing him of the truth is a difficult task.
That's a very VERY brief summary of my manga. There's a much deeper plot involved but I won't go there. If all goes according to
plan, then one day everyone can read in actual manga form :)

Anime Review: Kuroshitsuji aka Black Butler
It only makes sense for my first anime review to be over one of my favorite animes of all time. Kuroshitsuji has 2 seasons and they do not follow the manga. The first season starts off following the manga but, at around the 5th episode, it goes off on a completely different track.
The series is about a 13 year old boy named Ciel Phantomhive. His house and parents get destroyed by a fire that someone started. Ciel was then made into a slave. During that time he was extremely abused. Ciel was on the edge of death when a demon came to his side. The demon proposed that Ciel make a contract with him. In exchange for Ciel's soul, the demon would protect Ciel and would help Ciel kill the people who murdered his parents. Ciel agrees to the contract and he names the demon Sebastian. That is the base for the story.
Ciel's family, the Phantomhives, have a job. They are to take away the Queen's worries. So Ciel and Sebastian go around solving crimes for her. Ciel believes that in due time, the people who murdered his parents will return to kill him. So, while Ciel waits for them to come, he goes around doing the Phantomhive's duties as head of the house.
This anime is very dark and the plot gets rather twisted twoards the end. The animation is good there's really nothing I can fault it for. It's a great anime to watch.
Now onto the second season. This season is good only if you read the manga. I'm saying that because the second season screws up the story but, if you read the manga, you don't care because you know it's not the real story. That being said this season is quite complex.
It introduces a new character called Alois Trancy and his demon butler Claude. This entire season has to do with a battle between Claude and Sebastian. If I told you anymore it would be considered spoilers. Some people say not to watch it, but I enjoyed it a lot.
All in all, I give the entire series a 8.5/10 score.

It's Artwork Time #1
Every month I'll be posting 3 pieces of my artwork. Please enjoy :)

Simplicity is Key
I'd like to keep this blog very simple. I'm not one for lots of fancy buttons and what not. On the side is the archive of all the blog entries for easy access, at the bottom is a link to the homepage, and at the bottom of each blog entry is a place to post comments. A simple blog that's easy to navigate. It's also much easier for me to manage this way. One more thing, all the artwork you see on this blog is my own. Okay now with that the full introduction is complete! Let's get this blog started!

Hello I'm ShinitzueChan :)
Let's start off this blog with an introduction. I am an 18 year old girl who is an otaku. What is an otaku? An otaku is someone who is obsessed with anime and manga. I am proud to be an otaku. It makes life so much more fun. I don't know what I would do without anime and manga. Along with being an otaku, I'm also working towards being a manga artist. Here on this blog, I intend to post all things otaku. Whether it be anime/manga reviews, stuff about cosplay, conventions, or artwork. I actually don't have any otaku friends, other than from the internet, so it can be very lonely and depressing at times. I want to discuss the stuff I love with people, but I have no one. That's why I'm here. To discuss and share what I love. Hopefully I can be a friend to other otaku who are also alone. I'd like to thank anyone who is reading this and anyone who is going to stick around for more. Hopefully I can make this work. Oh and if you're thinking that otaku are strange....you couldn't be more wrong. The otaku world is a beautiful place and it gives people like me, so much happiness.
